Get ready to learn a super-fun version of "Believer" by Imagine Dragons!

Overall, this song is not difficult to play. In fact, it serves as an excellent introduction to string bending and alternate picking--two techniques that are very common at the intermediate level. If you are a beginner level student that is getting ready to transition to the intermediate level then this song will give you a head start in getting these important techniques down. Be sure to watch the above tutorial to get a detailed explanation on how to execute these techniques properly.

Here is the structure of the song:

1. Verse (2x)
2. Pre-Chorus
3. Chorus
4. (Repeat all sections, but only play the verse 1x)

As you can see, there are only three sections to the song. Once you play through each section you will repeat through them a second time. Note that on the second time through you will only play through the verse one time. 

In the above tutorial I break each section down into its corresponding phrases. The great news is that this song only consists of seven phrases total with each section only containing two to three phrases! 

Once you've worked through each phrase and committed them to memory you will be ready for the fun part: playing along with the song. I have included a full play-along at the end of the tutorial. 😊👍
