Learn “He’s a Pirate” from Pirates of the Caribbean

Get ready to learn "He's a Pirate", the main theme from Pirates of the Caribbean! This epic song contains five sections which can be broken down into nine phrases.  All of the phrases in the song come right out of the D minor scale. In the following lesson video I will show you the scale pattern that is used which will greatly shorten the amount of time it will take to learn the song.

The main challenge most students encounter in learning this song is timing and speed. This song uses a "6 count" and is played at a brisk pace.  If that sounds intimidating, don't worry--I'm going to explain everything in detail and show you the steps you need to take to fully master this song!
